HEART TO HAND PRIVACY POLICIES

Privacy, Safety & Professional Conduct Policy

Thank you for trusting Heart to Hand with your care. Our intention is to provide a safe, respectful, professional and supportive environment where all bodies are honored and clients feel empowered throughout their experience.

Our Commitment to Ethical, Professional Care

Heart to Hand is committed to the highest standards of professional massage therapy, somatic bodywork and holistic health practice. All services are provided by a licensed and trained practitioner who adheres to ethical guidelines designed to protect client safety, dignity, privacy and autonomy.

We recognize that massage and bodywork involve vulnerability and trust. Your comfort, consent and well-being are central to every session. If at any point something does not feel right or appropriate, we encourage you to trust your intuition and communicate your needs. You may speak directly with your practitioner or follow up after your session in whatever way feels safest for you.

Client Responsibilities

To support a respectful and effective therapeutic environment, clients are expected to:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments. Late arrival may result in a shortened session to respect other clients’ time.

  • Communicate openly about health history, comfort levels, boundaries and preferences.

  • Engage in ethical and respectful behavior. Any inappropriate comments, requests or actions will result in immediate termination of the session.

Heart to Hand maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, sexualized behavior or boundary violations.

Your Right to Control Your Experience

You always have the right to guide your session. This includes:

  • Communicating what areas you would or would not like worked on.

  • Adjusting pressure, positioning, temperature, lighting or music at any time.

  • Undressing to your level of comfort. Massage can be performed fully clothed or partially clothed and undergarments may always be worn.

  • Expecting the practitioner to leave the room while you dress and undress.

  • Pausing or stopping the session at any point, for any reason.

Your body, your boundaries, your choice… always.

Safe & Professional Bodywork Standards

Heart to Hand upholds clear professional boundaries to ensure safe, therapeutic care:

  • Clients are properly draped at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed.

  • Massage is strictly non-sexual in nature.

  • Genitalia and anal areas are never massaged or touched.

  • Gluteal work is performed only with informed client consent and over the sheet with proper draping.

  • Inner thigh work is limited and never approaches the groin.

  • Chest work, when appropriate, may be offered only with informed, explicit consent, clear communication and within the scope of professional training.

  • Breast massage is approached with sensitivity, respect and clinical intention and may be used to support lymphatic health, scar tissue release, postpartum recovery, embodiment or other therapeutic goals.

Any breach of these standards is taken seriously and addressed immediately.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Heart to Hand respects the confidential nature of the therapeutic relationship. All personal information, health history, and session details are kept private and handled in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards.

Our Pledge to You
